About Us – The Wirral Carpet Cleaner

Hi, I’m Robbie Phillips, the founder and owner of The Wirral Carpet Cleaner. With over 25 years in the professional cleaning industry, I’ve built a reputation for delivering outstanding results and excellent customer service across the Wirral and surrounding areas.
Before launching my own companies, I was part of the Eco group with my brother. In 2013 I started Mersey Steam Clean, and today we proudly run The Wirral Carpet Cleaner as part of that group.
We focus on one clear goal: providing deep, effective, and reliable cleaning that our customers can genuinely trust. From family homes in Wallasey, Heswall, or Birkenhead to commercial premises across the peninsula, every job is carried out with care and attention to detail.

Our Professional Cleaning Approach

We use powerful truck-mounted hot water extraction systems together with premium eco-friendly cleaning products. This professional equipment allows us to achieve a deeper clean while helping carpets dry faster. All our technicians are trained to the highest standards and we hold full BICSc accreditation – the leading UK cleaning science qualification.We also recently achieved the ABC Certificate under the Green Scheme (regulated by Ofqual) as part of our continued commitment to more environmentally responsible cleaning. Franchise Opportunities – Coming 2027

We’ve developed a proven, successful system that works. That’s why we’re now planning to franchise The Wirral Carpet Cleaner model. From 2027 onwards, we’ll be looking for the right person to take over day-to-day operations on the Wirral while we continue to provide full training, ongoing support, marketing assistance, and operational guidance.
